Select the length of the hose
The length of the hose must be selected based on the size of the room. Usually the length of the rooms is equal to the length of the floor slabs, that is, approximately six meters. Therefore, the maximum length of the hose used to make the water level can be no more than ten meters. If the hose is short, then you have to make transitions, and this increases the likelihood of errors.
Fill the resulting homemade level slowly with tap water. Carefully ensure that no air bubbles form. If you notice their appearance, then wait for a while until the air is out. This rule must be observed so that the results of water level measurements made by your hands are accurate.
