Where is the heater element

Sometimes with side loading machines, it can be on the side.

Teng behind the front panel

To determine exactly where it is located near you, first remove the back cover and look under the tank. It is easier to unscrew it, so it will be the first. Remove the top panel

1. First, you need to remove the top cover. To do this, unscrew the two screws that secure the cover. They are in the back. They can be under a Phillips screwdriver, flat or Torx. After unscrewing them, pull the cover back and remove it.
2. Then remove the detergent tray. In its place will also be 2 screws, which need to unscrew. On the back of the front panel there is a latch that should be pushed back. Then she is removed.
3. Remove the steel hoop and the rubber seal The next step is to remove the steel hoop that holds the seal (rubber cuff) on the loading hatch. This ring is an ordinary wire spring. You need to stretch the spring and remove the hoop from the seal.
4. Now remove the rubber seal.
5. There should be screws on the front panel, on the bottom or in the front, which must also be unscrewed. It remains to remove the cover. It can be attached with additional clips. Therefore, you need to bring the lid forward a little and lower it down.
6. There is a door lock near the hatch. From it you need to disconnect the wires. Now you can remove the panel and go to the very ten.
7. Contacts It is located at the bottom of the tank. Immediately at the end of the ten, you will see two power terminals, a ground wire, and a thermal sensor connector.
8. First remove the terminals, ground and remove the temperature sensor. In order to properly connect everything after replacement, the location of the wires can be remembered or better photographed.
9. It remains only to unscrew the fastener in the form of a nut. Take the socket or open-end wrench and unscrew the nut, but not completely. Press the bolt inwards so that the ten can be removed.
10. Now, up and down, loosen the Teng and gently pull it out.
11. Perform tank maintenance. All residues of powder, scale and other trash must be removed. Now need to replace the teng.
12. Buy a new Teng, starting from the marking of the former. Connect a thermal sensor to it and insert it in the right place. If there are guides, they need to get into and stick in the device. Tighten the fastening nut, connect the wires, it is important not to confuse them.
13. The last stage is the reverse assembly of the machine.
