Known methods for preparing recesses in the wall designed for mounting plastic podzetnikov, they use the following techniques:

1. Punching installation holes in concrete, brick and aerated concrete structures, followed by fixation using a pre-prepared plaster solution;
2. Arrangement niches in plasterboard, plywood and SML slabs with fixing the body of the product using special spacer legs;
3. Used mations mounting pads of appropriate size, which are the basis for fixing the switch or outlet (outdoor installation in houses with walls of wood-based materials).

Installation process

Marking of places fastenings of sockets (height of their location) should be selected taking into account the requirements of technical standards for electrical safety (ПУЭ), as well as features of the arrangement of furniture in the apartment. The markup itself is reduced, as a rule, to drawing a mark at a selected height and delineating around this point a circle with a corresponding diameter.

Preparation of installation niches in walls made of concrete or brick can be done in one of the following ways:

• using a special volumetric drill (the so-called "crown"), the working diameter of which is selected taking into account standard size;
• using a percussion drill with a pointy drill or perforator;
• using a grinder to prepare a hole.

Given that a typical flush mount has a diameter of 67 mm - you should prepare a crown of about 70 mm. After that, using a hammer drill or punch with a crown fixed in the chuck, a corresponding hole should be punched into the wall.

The depth of the hole to be prepared must be sufficient for the plastic case of the product to be completely recessed in the wall (with a margin of about 4 mm).

Accepting a niche by drilling (using a perforator or impact drill) is reduced to punching holes along the marking diameter and to the subsequent shelling of individual fragments of wall material with a chisel.

The use of the grinder markedly reduces the time spent on preparing the niche, but you will also get the most dust on the room. When implementing this method, the marked-up ground is cut by the Bulgarian disk in different directions, after which the wall material is knocked out by a chisel to the calculated depth.

After niche prepared - make sure that the plastic case of the product is placed in it without any difficulty.

Following this, the electrical cable supplying power to the outlet is inserted into the hole on the back wall, and its case is inserted into the niche as far as it will go.

At the final stage of the installation work, the sub-base to be installed is fixed in the hole with the help of prepared plaster solution. After complete drying of the last case, the finished product case is cleaned of the remnants of gypsum and carefully wiped with a cloth.

A similar method of installation is used, as a rule, when open wiring in buildings, the walls of which are made of timber or other wood materials.
