The difference between the laminate and the floorboard begins with the structure and the method of processing and ends with the installation details.

Full description of materials

Laminate is a quality treated fiberboard that has a number of protective layers. Each manufacturer contributes something of its own to the workflow, which results in different quality and different pricing policies. The more expensive the material, the more protective layers it has, but the customer can only determine the quality by experience.

Typically, the standard options are as follows:

1. The upper protective layer does not pass moisture, weak chemically active elements and protects from the sun's rays.
2. Decorative paper forms a floor pattern. It is far from necessary that the drawing be in the form of a tree cut, with a special desire you can order any interesting one.
3. Kraft paper forms an interlayer between the decoration and the main layer. It has increased strength, and sometimes 2 and 3 layers are combined.
4. Fiberboard panel.
5. Balancer, which serves for perfect interface with the surface.

The parquet board, in turn, is natural wood, which is compressed in layers:

1. The bottom layer is made from seamless veneer of the conifer. Ephedra have high durability and resistance to all sorts of wear factors.
2. A beech insert reinforces the ends, that is, it actually forms an internal stiffener.
3. Conifers laid perpendicularly.
4. Any wood with enhanced strength properties. Optimally oak or mahogany.
5. To top it off, the entire composition is covered with 6 layers of lacquer, which ideally protects the base. If necessary, these layers of lacquer can be removed and covered all over again, but we need special equipment.

Summing up

In each case, you need to choose the material to suit your needs, since both options are laminated, but in the first case almost the entire component is artificial, while in the second - almost completely natural. Visually, the parquet board is no different from parquet, and the care for it is similar, which is very convenient.

But it is worth remembering that any materials on a natural basis is always much more useful for the human body, while synthetics in the best case does not cause damage.

Even the best representatives of synthetic origin have significant differences with natural ones, which is why the latter are often preferred.
