How to make a coffee table from a stool?

You can make an attractive bedside table with a glass top decorated with various decorative elements from a usual kitchen stool. It is desirable that the stool had a round seat. The following materials and tools will be required for the manufacture of the product:

• plywood not less than 1.5 and not more than 3 cm thick;
• round table top made of glass, which is larger than the diameter of the seat;

A bedside table for a child can be quite small. This is enough to accommodate a nightlight or favorite toy.

To make a table from a stool for a little girl, you can buy a new stool or use an old stool that is no longer useful in the kitchen.

To make the product you will need:

• kitchen stool with a round seat;
• a thin section of airy fabric (veil, organza, etc.) ;
• cord or elastic;
• glue (instant or hot);
• a piece of velcro;
• decorative elements: glass beads, beads, rhinestones, etc. p;
• scissors;
• needle, thread;
• centimeter;
• sandpaper;
• paint the color of the fabric.

If an old chair is prepared for the table, it must be thoroughly cleaned of dirt and paint. Then the legs and the seat of the stool are sanded with sandpaper and painted with paint to match the fabric.

After that, it is necessary to make a “skirt” for the table out of a thin material. To do this, measure the size of the seat circumference of the stool and cut out strips of fabric, the length of which will be equal to the size of a circle x 2. The width of the strips is chosen according to your taste.

Then the seat of the stool is tied with a cord or rubber band. They should be placed on the parts tightly, but without undue tension.
