The first important dimension is the distance between the axles. The most common are aluminum radiators with a distance of 35 or 50 cm between the upper and lower collectors.
There are also models that have a figure of 80, 70, 60, 40 and 20 cm.
Along the length, aluminum radiators have almost unlimited dimensions. The longer the radiator, the higher its power. To achieve the desired level of power take a certain number of sections. The total length of the radiator depends on the required power, the size of the section of aluminum radiators and their power.

In this case, it is not possible to adjust the radiator in length, it is impossible to add sections from it. On sale they are rare, but still they are.

There is a simplified way to do this quickly. To do this, we need the standard power required to heat one square meter of the room. We give three options.
Now we multiply two values - the standard power for our variant and the area of the room. Having higher ceilings or a larger window (for example, if it is with a bay window), we multiply by an additional correction factor of 1.1. As a result, we obtain the power of the radiator (total).
The heat capacity for one section is indicated in the radiator passport. It is necessary to divide the total power received into it. Round fractional numbers upwards.
For example: A room has an area of 16 square meters, it has one outer wall and one window with a bay window. Battery FARAL Green HP 500 (thermal power section - 180 watts).
Multiply 100 watts by 16 square meters and by a factor of 1.1.
100 x 16 x 1.1 = 1760 (watts).
To calculate the number of radiator sections, divide this number by 180.
1760/180 = 9.778 (pieces).
Rounding - we get 10 sections.
